Como uma solução, a Califórnia está creditando autocarros-diesel híbridos com uma redução da emissão de NOx de 25 por cento sobre os valores da certificação do motor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Os autocarros híbridos podem poupar cerca de 10% até 50% de combustível dependendo do sistema (se é paralelo ou em série), optimizações do sistema e também da rota do autocarro. Alguns testes estão a ser efectuados mas ainda não saíram publicamente, embora sejam esperados resultados entre os 25% e 50% (comparados com os autocarros convencionais).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Existe ainda um filtro de partículas diesel que podem reduzir emissões de partículas em 85 por cento. Estes tanto podem ser equipados em autocarros convencionais como em híbridos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Focando estes aspectos o estado português devia investir na modernização dos autocarros, que embora sejam mais caros acabam por sair mais barato a longo prazo, e consequentemente acaba por se baixar os níveis de poluição chegando assim mais perto dos níveis predefinidos.&lt;br /&gt;No âmbito desta informação e do concurso das cidades criativas, fica aqui registado o pedido à Câmara Municipal de Odivelas para que faça pressão às empresas rodoviárias para fazerem um esforço económico e começarem a investir na tecnologia híbrida. Transformando assim a cidade de Odivelas numa cidade criativa, numa terra do futuro, menos poluída e mais verde.&lt;br /&gt;Sugerimos então que o autocarro que faz o percurso entre o centro comercial Odivelas Parque e o Metro de Lisboa (estação terminal de Odivelas) para além de ser gratuito passe também a ser mais &amp;ldquo;limpo&amp;rdquo;, amigo do ambiente.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
